Do you like working with your hands and want to train for a career in a growing industry? The aviation maintenance technology program at California Aeronautical University trains students to diagnose, repair, and maintain aircraft. The program is designed with fast-paced, year-round courses, so our students can graduate with their diploma in about 17 months. The program is offered in Bakersfield at Meadows Airport.

Convenient Location
The CAU campus is conveniently located in Bakersfield, California at the Meadows Airport. On-campus student housing is available.
Accelerated Program
Offered in fast-paced, year-round classes, students can earn their AMT diploma in about 17 months and an Associate's Degree in about 22 months.

OUR AVIATION MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS
Through the Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program at CAU, students will learn how to maintain and repair aircraft engines, propellers, power train systems, hydraulic systems, radio communications equipment and much more.
Graduates will be eligible to take the Federal Aviation Administration exams and are prepared to enter the industry as an entry-level airframe and powerplant (A&P) technician.
